Seasonal Hostel 2015-16

On 19th May 2016 a joint visit was organised with three organisations i.e. Lokadrusti, AIF and Sarva Shikhya Avijan (SSA) to different seasonal hostels in Nuapada district of ODISHA where children of the distress migrants parents are staying from last year November 2015 .Lokadrusti and AIF is giving technical and hand holding support to School Management Committee (SMC).During 2015-2016 there are 235 seasonal hostels has been opened by SSA in 4 distress migration prone districts of NUAPADA ,Bolangir ,Bargarh and Kalahandi .The main objective of seasonal hostel is to stem the migration of school going children and make them not to be drop out from the school.Lokadrusti was directly started this model of seasonal hostel with the support of AIF in 2004 but we requested SSA Odissa to replicate and scale up to cover more numbers of distress migrant district of western ODISHA . But after implementation of Right to Education Act(RTE) Lokadrusti strengthened the SMC to run their respective sessional hostel with the active participation of villagers and the staff of SSA.After 4years presently they have been strengthened to run the seasonal hostels and handling the finance and appoint the seasonal hostels staffs directly .....during our joint visit we are satisfied to interact with different stack holders including Panchyatraj personal.we also visited resource centres organised by Lokadrusti with the support of AIF . These resource centres at cluster level use to create an enabling and child friendly atmosphere at the cluster level and assist and guide the children at the time of their difficulty.In addition to this these centres use to creat a learning common platform to the teachers and the children at Panchyat level.Each Resource Centres has library books , science materials and computer and projector etc.These centres also use to involve the government teachers and impart training to make the school child friendly and make village child labour free....

Notification & Final merit list for Engagement of Shiksha Sahayaks (5th Preference): Year-2014-15

   The Final Merit List of the candidates applied for the post of Sikshya Sahayak 2014-15 under Nuapada District as 5^th Preference for the candidates who have applied earlier and as 2nd preference who have applied subsequently as per the corrigendum Notice issued vide letter No. 1297/Estt./16  dtd 09.02.2016 of SPD, OPEPA, is hereby published, which is also available in Nuapada district official website www.nuapada.nic.in and OPEPA website www.opepa.in.

                  The selected candidates, enlisted in the Final Merit List  are instructed to attend the District Project Office, RTE-SSA, Nuapada on 13.05.2015 between 08.00AM to 01.00PM for place of posting through counselling process only as per the available vacancy.

                They are require to bring their concerned original certificates, one set of self attested photo copies of the certificates, two self signed passport size photographs, character certificate from two gazetted officers and one medical fitness certificate and copy of the Application form. 

                 They have to execute an agreement in non-judicial stamp worth of Rs.10/- (at the minimum)(minimum 04 pages) with the Collector-cum-C.E.O., Zilla Parishad, Nuapada.

                The Final Selection of PH candidates, enlisted in the Final Merit List against PH reservation, are subject to re-examination of the candidates physically before the Appellate Medical Board constituted by the W & C Department vide Notification No.16430/WCD dtd. 06.09.2011.

                 All the candidates have to furnish an affidavit on the genuineness of the certificates and mark sheets. In case at any stage it is ascertained that the selection was by virtue of manipulation or forgery of certificates/ mark sheets the selection will be cancelled and appropriate legal action shall be taken against the concerned candidate.

                Absence of any candidate in the counselling session from Final Merit List may be considered for cancellation of candidature.

Seasonal Hostels in Sinapali block

This summer season is too hot..... temperature increase up to 45 to 48 degrees Celsius in Sinapali block...looking at the problem Lokadrusti discussed with the school management committee and BEO we proposed for cooler for the children of the season hostels .In Sinapali block there are 13 such season Hostals where 512 children of the migrants parent are staying.After providing Coolers the children are very much happy....
